Flex Spending at Shettle Family Eye Care and Eye Wear
Many employers offer flex spending plans to their employees as a benefit. A medical flex account is an employer-provided benefit plan that allows you to contribute a set amount from your paycheck in order to cover out-of-pocket medical, dental, and vision expenses such as health insurance co-pays, uninsured treatments, or even over-the-counter drug purchases.
Please be aware that many Flex Spending Accounts require you to spend all money you’ve contributed by December 31st or you will lose the benefit contribution.
Flex Spending Accounts may be used for:
- Eye Examinations and Contact Lens Fittings
- Eyeglasses
- Sunglasses
- LASIK (Laser Vision Correction)
- Contact Lenses and Solutions
